A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Lake County Telegraph, Painesville, Ohio, Saturday, May 14, 1983: Unionville - Ruby Barnum, 61, of South Ridge, died Thursday night at Memorial Hospital in Geneva, Ohio. Mrs. Barnum was born Feb. 27, 1922 in Geneva. She lived in Painesville, and for the last 20 years in Unionville. She was a member of the Unionville Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband Floyd, son James of Unionville, daughters, Mrs. Lois Corea of New Brighton, Conn. and Sharon Nichols of Cleveland, sister Anna Scrum of Arizona and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother Nellie Larko in 1979, her father Bert Prunty and twin brothers in infancy. Burial will be in Unionville Cemetery.
Unionville is an unincorporated community on the line between northwestern Harpersfield Township in Ashtabula County and eastern Madison Township in Lake County, Ohio.
