A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Niagara Falls Gazette, Monday, April 14, 1941: Lockport — Mrs. Mary E. Barnum, 79 widow of former mail carrier Edward W. Barnum, died last night at her home at 93 Juniper Street. Before her marriage she was Mary Silk. She was born in Lockport and had lived here all her life. A son, George S. Barnum of Lawrenceville, NJ and a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Stone of Buffalo survive.
Oddly, her gravestone shows her year of death as 1931.
