From the Daily Press, Newport News, Virginia, July 22, 2004: Maryl Dorothy Kime, 86, died July 20, 2004, at Walter Reed Convalescent Center. She was born on November 23, 1917, in Utica, N.Y. She moved to Gloucester 4 1/2 years ago. She was a member of Ware Episcopal Church. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Bertram Kime; son, Charles Kime and his wife, Pat, of Austin, Texas; daughter, Susan Biel and her husband, Frederick, of Gloucester; brother, Douglas Barnum and his wife, Helen, of Ocala, Fla.; five grandchildren, James Biel of Kansas City, Mo., Jennifer Hartman and her husband, Paul, of Newport News, Va., Chad Biel and his wife, Andrea, of Charleston, S.C., Rebecca Miller of Austin, Texas, and Jeffrey Kime of Pavilion, N.Y. A memorial service will be held in Ware Episcopal Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
