Summary from the Hartford Courant, September 22, 2004: Mrs. Lorraine (Barnum) Cappiello, 90, of Cheshire, died Monday, (September 20, 2004) at Mid State Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Emilio Anthony Cappiello. Mrs. Cappiello was born July 31, 1914, in Franklin, PA, daughter of the late Ernest and Elsie (Green) Barnum. She lived in Bridgeport most of her life and the last 20 years in Cheshire. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Landy's Pharmacy in Bridgeport and also D. M. Read & Co. in Trumbull. She leaves a son, Craig A. Cappiello and his wife Pam of Cheshire and two granddaughters, Kimberly Murtaugh and her husband Christopher and Michelle Cappiello. She was predeceased by a sister, Adelaide Bursey. A private graveside service will be held in Union Cemetery, Stratford at the convenience of the family.
