From the Intelligencer/Wheeling News-Register, 12 Feb 2010: Margaret "Peggy" Ward, age 80 of Blaney Avenue, Moundsville, WV died Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at home. She was born February 15, 1929 in Marshall County, WV the daughter of the late Jesse and Rose Brantner Barnum. She was a retired secretary; and a member of Moundsville Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Ward; a son, Randy Ward; a brother, Richard Barnum; and a sister, Dorothy Maxwell. Survivors include two daughters, Michele (Chuck) Duckworth of Moundsville, and Stacey Davis of Colorado Springs, Colorado; a brother, David (Nancy) Barnum of Willowick, OH; two grandchildren, Mallory Duckworth of Huntington, WV, and Chase Duckworth of Moundville; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville where funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:00m with Rev. J. Thomas Steele officiating. Interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard.
