From the Rochester, New York Democrat and Chronicle, Wednesday September 15, 1897: The funeral of Mrs. Adeline Beers who died Sunday at the home of her mother, Mrs. Martin of Pittsford, was held yesterday afternoon at her late home conducted by Rev. H L Wood rector of Christ Episcopal Church Pittsford.
From The Herald, Fairport, New York (1897, no more-specific date): Mrs. Clark Beers, formerly Adeline Stone, born here 48 years ago died Sunday at the home of her mother Adelia Martin. One brother, Morgan Stone, with the mother survives the deceased. The funeral was yesterday afternoon at the house. Rev. Mr. Wood officiated. Mrs. Beers was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
