Obituary - Charles Riley Barnum, 86.
Daleville (IN)- Charles Riley Barnum, 86, passed away at Bethany Point Health Campus on Saturday, February 13, 2016.Â
He was born in Union City Indiana to the late Paul R. and Mary (Daubenmire) Barnum.Â
He was a graduate of Union City High School and retired from Tibbets Heath and Electrical after thirty-five years of service.Â
He is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years, Bernice (Pinney); sons, Bruce (Kay) Barnum of Anderson and Barry (Debbie) Barnum of Odessa, TX; one daughter, Cheryl (Jerry) Warthman of Middletown; and a grandson, Jeffrey (Audrea) Barnum of Sarasota, FL. Also surviving are brothers, Gene Barnum of Hillgrove, Ohio and Dave (Jan) Barnum of Ft. Wayne; a sister, Ila B. (Ned) Yaney of Dayton, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.Â
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Paul Jr., Phil and Tom; and sister, Joyce.Â
A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Pastor Jeff Williams officiating.Â
Cremation will follow.Â
Friends may call from noon until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.Â
Memorials may be made to the Trinity Community Church or Gentiva Hospice.Â
