A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Annapolis Capital, Annapolis, Maryland, January 11, 1978: Mabel (sic) Barnum Zumwalt, former Anne Arundel County school teacher, died Saturday in Seattle, Wash., after a lengthy illness.
After teaching for one year at Mayo Elementary School, Mrs. Zumwalt taught at Edgewater Elementary School from 1953 until her retirement in 1973. She is survived by her husband, Reuben of Sequim, Wash., a son, Thomas, and a daughter, Sharon. Burial will be in Seattle. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society.
