From the Fort Worth Star-Telegram (Texas) - April 3, 1996: Bedford - Howard L. Barnum, 77, a retired Federal Aviation Administration engineer, died Monday at a Bedford hospital. Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Brown Trail Church of Christ in Bedford. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
Howard L. Barnum was born Sept. 5, 1918, in Troy, Ohio. He was a member of Brown Trail Church of Christ, where he served as elder for many years. Survivors: Wife, Mary A. Barnum of Bedford; sons and their wives, Richard and Nancy Barnum of Oklahoma City and Ken and Tracy Barnum of Houston; daughter and her husband, Ethelyn and Lyle Sharpe of Trinidad, Colo.; and four grandchildren, Jennifer Wall, Victoria Barnum, Mary K. Sharpe and Tyler Sharpe.
