From the Kingston Daily Freeman, Kingston, NY, Wednesday, August 16, 1944: Anson Hoyt Barnum, formerly of New York and Reading, Pennsylvania died Monday (August 14). He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. John B. Krom, and granddaughter; Miss Barbara Krom of this city. Funeral will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in Danbury, Connecticut.
