A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Long Beach Press-Telegram, California, July 14, 2013: Dr. Edwin N. Barnum, born August 9, 1921, left us quietly on June 29, 2013. He was predeceased by the two loves of his life Barbara and Marg. and survived by his children and their families. "Barney" was an Indiana boy who after completing medical school at the University of Indiana, served in the U.S. Navy and then came West where he was a radiologist on the staffs of both St. Mary's and Pacific hospitals. Barney was a good listener and a wonderful observer of life. He was fascinated with anything having to do with space exploration. He loved sharing stories, telling jokes and doing crossword puzzles. Barney will be remembered for being both a wonderful friend and for being the consummate gentleman.
