A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Bryan Times, Bryan, Ohio, October 4, 1974: Stryker- Ill several months, Mrs. Laura I. (Isabel) Barnum, 89, of Route 1 Stryker, died Friday (Oct. 4) morning in Park View Nursing Home, Edgerton. The daughter of Peter and Louise Juillard, she was born August 23, 1885 in Stryker. Her marriage December 24, 1903 was to Joseph C. Barnum who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Barnum was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of the local First Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Donald Barnum, Bay City, Michigan; a daughter, Mrs. Leola Wyse, Stryker; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Gertie Clark, Stryker. Interment is at Stryker Cemetery.
