From the Bryan Times, Bryan, Ohio, February 23, 2002: Leola A. Wyse, 96, formerly of Stryker, died Friday, February 22, 2002. In 1987, she had moved to Cedarville to live with her daughter. She had been residing at the Greenwood Manor Nursing Home in Xenia. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Nedra) Callan; a son, Dr. Rodney (and wife Gerri) Wyse; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband Ellis in 1947; her parents Czar and Laura Barnum; a sister, Thelma and two brothers, Virgil and Donald.
Leola Barnum married Ellis Christ Wyse on June 28, 1926, in Williams County, Ohio. He was born August 13, 1904 and died November 21, 1947. (Findagrave)
