A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From The Oregonian, Portland, Oregon, Sunday, 12 November 2006: A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, in Oregon City Christian Church for Winfield Edgar Barnum, who died Nov. 8 at age 90.
Mr. Barnum was born Sept. 1, 1916, in Sheridan. He moved to Milwaukie in 1942 and was a carpenter, as well as member of Local 1388 in Oregon City. He was a member of the church. In 1939, he married Margaret L. McCracken; she died in 2004.
Survivors include his sons, John E. and James L.; brothers, Wyeth, Earl and Keith; sisters, Frances Barnum and Margaret Mason; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
