From the Syracuse Herald Journal, Syracuse, New York, March 28, 1966: Dryden — Mrs. Anna E. Howarth Link, 79, Troy died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Tingen of Holtsville (Long Island, NY). Mrs. Link had been a Dryden resident for many years. Surviving are a son, Hugh Howarth of Ithaca; two daughters, Mrs. Alice (Allan) Tilton of Ithaca and Mrs. Mary Tingen of Holtsville, NY and a half sister, Mrs. Margaret Brandt of Schenectady.
From The Times Record, Troy, New York, Saturday, April 9, 1966: Link—March 27, 1966, Anna E. Howarth, formerly of Taylor Apartments, Troy, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Tingen, Holtsville, Long Island (NY), wife of the late Zera Link; also mother of Hugh Howarth and Mrs. Allan Tilton, both of Ithaca. Funeral was held April 1, 1966 at Dryden, New York.
