A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Eau Claire Leader, Wisconsin, Wednesday, June 14, 1967: Black River Falls -Mrs. Henry Gaede, 69, Rt. 3, died at her farm home in the Shamrock area Monday (June 12). She had been in ill health for some time. She was born in the Pine Hill region Nov. 17, 1898. The former Della Barnum is survived by her husband, a daughter, Zelma, Denver, Colo.; two step daughters, Mrs. Jane Litke, Wisconsin Rapids, Mrs. Esther Marks, Marshfield; two sons, Gaylord, Sparta, and Paul, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Callihan, La Crosse, Mrs. Emil Cikanek, Beaver Dam; two brothers, Reuben Barnum, Black River Falls and Tilford, Woodstock, Illinois. The funeral service is at p. m. today at the Torgerson Chapel with the Rev. Paul Elliott officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
