A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
Harold E. Barnum, 89, formerly of Schenectady died Thursday February 2, 2006 at Woodside Hospice House in Pinellas Park, Florida after a long illness. Born in Scotia, New York, Harold was the son of John and Ina (Herron) Barnum. Harold worked for over 42 years for the General Electric Company before his retirement in 1978. He was a graduate of the GE apprenticeship course, a member of the GE century club and a former member of Fisher Methodist Church. Harold was predeceased in 1986 by his 1st wife Margaret (Knight) Barnum. Survivors include his wife of 18 years Mae (Morrison) Barnum of Clearwater, FL., a daughter, Carole Nastars (Daniel) of Port Charlotte, FL., two step daughters Sharon Weigel (Dennis) of St. Petersburg, FL and Peggy Evans of Winter Park, Florida grandson, Daniel Nastars (Connie) of Port Charlotte, FL. and two great grandchildren, Jake and Jazzmin Nastars. A memorial tribute will be held on Monday morning February 13, 2006 at 9 am followed by a graveside prayer service at Memory's Garden, Colonie, New York.
