A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Valley Independent, Saturday, May 9, 1964: David R. Barnum of Allenport died yesterday at 7:30 p m in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Mr. Barnum was a member of the Methodist Church, Allenport. A past master of Gumberi Lodge F&AM, Fayette City he was a member of Uniontown Lodge of Perfection, Scottish Rite Masons of Pittsburgh, Syria Temple, Pittsburgh. He also belonged to American Legion Post, Fayette City and the 40 & 8 Club. Surviving are his widow, Marjorie Balmer Barnum; a sister, Mrs. Vernon (Mary) Balmer, Charleroi; a (step) son, John Riley of Sherman Oaks, Calif.
