A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Long Beach Press-Telegram, May 4, 2010: Barbara Mary (Oliver) Barnum, 86, died of natural causes, Friday, April 30, 2010. Funeral service w ill be Thursday, May 6, 2010, 10:00 a.m. at St. Bernard's Catholic Church followed by graveside service at the Artesia Cemetery. Barbara was born March 9, 1924 in Bellflower and married Harold (Barney) Barnum in 1943 in Bellflower. Harold passed away in 1981. Barbara is survived by 6 children: Maureen DeLeon, Teresa Doss, Ray Barnum, Robert Barnum, Don Barnum, William (Billy) Barnum; 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 5, 2010, 4:0 0 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at White's Funeral Home in Bellflower. She touched many hearts and will be greatly missed. White's Funeral Home (562) 867-2741.
