A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Long Beach Press-Telegram, California, February 26, 2011: On February 17, 2011, at sunset, her favorite time of the day, Margaret Evelyn Barnum, surrounded by friends and family, closed her eyes and slipped away. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Edwin Barnum; daughter, Sheila Siino; son-in-law. Joe Siino; step children, Larry Barnum (Anita), Lynn Taylor (Bill), Ann Priest and six precious grandchildren who were the light of her life. Marg was a member of The Assistance League of both Long Beach and San Pedro, St. Mary's Hospital Guild, San Pedro Elks Club, Las Vecinas Woman's Club, Officers Wives Club Fine Arts Affiliates, The Long Beach Yacht Club and she volunteered at the Veterans Hospital for many years. Marg will be remembered for her many kindnesses, her unconditional friendship, her love of children her gentleness and her beautiful smile. She made a difference in the lives of many and leaves behind countless friends.
