A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Syracuse Post Standard, Tuesday, July 13, 1993: Frederick E. Barnum, 64, of 8 Adler Lane, Liverpool, died Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. A native of Owego, Mr. Barnum moved to the Syracuse area in 1986. He was supervisor of Park Lane Apartments in Liverpool and a security guard with Carrier Corp. His wife, Shirley Smith Barnum, died in 1991. He later resided in Liverpool with Norma Ludlow.
Surviving are a son, John F. of Dorchester, Mass.; two daughters, Susan J. Bigelow of Smithville Flats, Ala., and Janet Welch of Preble; his father Eugene B. Barnum of Cortland; a brother, Richard of Dryden; a sister, Mary B. McCall of East Homer; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Perkins Funeral Home, Dryden.
