A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Kingston Daily Freeman, Kingston, NY, Saturday, December 4, 1965: Funeral services for Dr. John B. Krom, 63, of 105 Fair Street, who died about 6:30 a.m. today in Kingston Hospital after he was stricken with a heart attack a short time earlier at his home, will be private.
Burial will be in Montrepose Cemetery. Dr. Krom is survived by his wife, the former Doris Barnum, and daughter, Barbara, wife of Frank B. Matthews. Three grandchildren also survive. A member of the staff of Kingston Hospital and one of the most well-known and most respected members of the medical profession, Dr. Krom was held in high esteem by countless others.
