A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Spokesman-Review, December 7, 2011: Elsie (Regehr) Barnum, 85, died peacefully on December 4, 2011 surrounded by family. Elsie was born on January 12, 1926, in Inman, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Mary Regehr, and her husband, Jerry Barnum. She is survived by her brother Leonard (Joyce) Regehr; six children, Michele (Gary) Cooper, Kathy (Rod) Rodrigues, Wes Barnum, Claudia (Dave) Hendrickson, Dan Barnum and Carrie (Alan) Combs; 10 grand- children, 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Words that describe our Mom: faithful, beautiful, loving, stubborn (she said so herself) and card shark. Mom was baptized in 1966 and attended the Opportunity Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 10, 2011, 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Spokane Valley, WA.
