From the Hartford Courant, Hartford, Connecticut, May 30, 1997: Lucille Barnum, 56, died Monday (May 26, 1997) at her residence in Waterford, ME. She was born at Winterville in Eagle Lake, ME, Dec. 22, 1940, the daughter of Edmond and Inez Tardie Labbe. She attended Eagle Lake schools. She was a homemaker, worked at Dean Machine and owned Lou's Family Restaurant, Waterford, ME. She is survived by three daughters, Sherry Ann Ashley of Jackman, ME, Debbie Lou Finney of Freeport, ME and Sandra Lee Finney of Oxford, ME, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and ten brothers and sisters. At the request of the family, there will be no services or visitation. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
