From The Star Beacon; Ashtabula, Ohio, January 4, 2012: Geneva — Florence M. Hoag, age 86, of N. Myers Road, Geneva, Ohio, died early Sunday morning, Jan. 1, 2012, at her residence following a short illness. She was born March 5, 1925, in Perry, Ohio, the daughter of Raymond F. and Bernice B. (Barnum) Albee and has lived in this area all of her life. She was married to Jack R. Hoag on March 7, 1950. Her favorite time was with her family. She enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and collecting bells; and enjoyed watching football, baseball, NASCAR and game shows. She is survived by three daughters, Susan K. Jones, Sharon R. (Keith) Youngberg and Marcia F. Hoag, all of Geneva; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Frances (Glenn) Bailey of Ashtabula; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack in 1978; a brother, Kay Albee; and a sister, Ruth Juncker. Mrs. Hoag requested no service or visitation be held.
