From the Saint Petersburg Times, Florida, October 20, 2004: Mary L. Tingen, 85, of Zephyrhills, died Tuesday (Oct. 5, 2004) at the Heritage Park Care in Dade City, Florida. She was born in Maspeth, (Queens) N.Y., came here 19 years ago from Long Island, N.Y. and was a homemaker. She was Methodist. Survivors include two daughters, Eleanor Giardino, Connecticut, and Marion McGovern, Zephyrhills; a brother, Hugh Howarth, Ithaca, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
