Death of Martha Barnum---Many young friends of Martha Barnum, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. J. Whitney Barnum, will learn with deep regret of her death, which occurred at 2:55 pm on Friday at the family home, 101 Elm Street in this city. Death was caused by heart trouble, from which she had been a sufferer for some time. She was 13 years of age and a pupil of the Intermediate department of the Oneonta State Normal School. She was a lovable young girl and greatly esteemed by all who knew her. In their bereavement the parents will have the sympathy of all. Funeral services will be at the home on Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock.
