A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Green Valley News & Sun, Arizona, June 20, 2009: Kenneth D. Van Lone, 85, of Green Valley and formerly of Beloit, Wisconsin, died June 16, 2009.
He was born in Beloit on Dec. 6, 1923. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1945, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.
After working most of his professional career in the financial industry, he and his wife ran a very successful restaurant and night club for 13 years before his retirement in 1990.
He was an avid golfer and a member of the Lions Club, both in Wisconsin and Green Valley.
He is survived by his wide Dorothy Van Lone; children Catherine (Henry) Van Lone-Taylor and Peter Van Lone; as well as three grandchildren, all of whom live in Wisconsin.
There will be a private family memorial service.
