From Cleburne County and Its People, Volume 2: George Washington Bradford was born on July 6, 1890, in Morganton, Arkansas. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. P. R. Bradford of Morganton.
For more than four score years, Mr. Badford was spared to have full part in the business and religious and fraternal life of his community. He was loved by all those who enjoyed the privilege of his friendship and of being associated with hom in his many worthwhile endeavors.

During his many years being a minister of God, he was responsible in winning many lost souls to the Lord, marrying several couples and preaching several funerals. On January 6, 1973, the Lord called Rev. Bradford home to be with him. He died at his home in Higden, Arkansas, at the age of eighty-three.
