A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
From the Lima News, Wednesday, March 14, 1962: Mrs. Sylvia Mae Barnett, 80, of 440 E. Pearl, died at 12:30 a.m. today in St. Rita's Hospital after an illness of two weeks. Born January 17, 1882 in Hancock County, she was a resident of Lima for 51 years. She is survived by sons Loren K., of Lakewood; Marlin L. of Mansfield; J. Richard, 858 St. Johns; daughters, Mrs. Tina Stonehill, No. 3 Elmview Court, and Mrs. Elizabeth McNary, 118 N. Collett; a sister, Mrs. Della McElderry; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was a lifetime member of the First EUB Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
