A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
Obituary from Every Saturday, Elgin, Illinois, Saturday, October 25, 1890, p. 1, col. 2: Marshall N. Lester, one of DuPage county's oldest settlers, died of pneumonia at his home at Salt Creek Oct. 17, aged 80 years. He leaves four children, Rollin of Nebraska, and Jerome, Marshall B. and Hannah E. of this neighborhood. He was a brother of Daniel Lester. Interment was at Bloomingdale Monday, Rev. A. N. Alcott officiating at the funeral.
