September 29, 1934 - August 25, 2013. Marjorie E. Detmer, age 78 of Temple, died Sunday, August 25, 2013 in a local hospital. Services and burial will be held at a later date. Mrs. Detmer was born September 29, 1934 in Paris, Michigan to Lewis Henry and Hester Elizabeth Hand Barnum. She was a longtime resident of Clearwater, Florida and had worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Kathleen M. White of Temple and one son, James L. Detmer of Michigan, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also surviving are two sisters and one brother.
