Daniel Hull was born on 12 November 1747 in Killingworth, New London, Connecticut, British America. He was the son of Peter Hull and Eleanor Crane.
He married Ruth Barnum in 1783.
Daniel was forced to quit his 150-acre farm on lot 31 in Queensbury during the American Revolution. In 1789, he was discharged for paying all past and future quit-rent on the property.
On 13d. 10m. 1783 [13 Oct 1783] it was reported to the Oblong monthly meeting that Daniel Hull had married Ruth Barnum. They were granted a certificate to the Saratoga monthly meeting on 15d. 12mo. 1783 [15 Dec 1783] and received there on 19d. 2mo.1784 [19 Feb 1784].
On 20d. 9mo. 1786 [20 Sep 1786], they witnessed the marriage of Josiah Varney and Lydia Brown at Queensbury.
Daniel created his will on 26 June 1815 and died on 6 February 1816. The administration of his will was granted on 10 July 1816 in Warren County, New York.
