A One-Name Study for the BARNUM/BARNHAM Surname
Tammy Jean Barnum Doss, passed away Thursday January 21, 2016 at Abilene Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Doss was born at Shreveport, La. on March 7, 1961 to Stormy and Juanita Reneau Barnum. She later met and married Monte Doss on December 28, 1982 in Brownwood, Texas. They were married 33 years. She went on to become a food service supervisor, graduating from TSTI in Waco, Texas. She was a member of the 4th and Stewart St. Church of Christ. She worked at Underwood's Cafeteria in Brownwood. She enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking and most of all her grandkids and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Monte Doss of Blanket; Their three girls, Lacy Anderson and husband BJ of Bangs, Trista Bernal and her husband JB of Blanket, Courtney Greene and her husband Curtis of Brownwood; one brother, Donnie Barnum and wife Darla of Brownwood; and one sister, Kathy Shannon and her husband Art of Lake Brownwood. Left to cherish her memory are her five grandkids, Erin and Emily Anderson, Hunter and Ethan Bernal, Cayden Greene and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Mrs. Doss is preceded in death by two grandbabies, Cevin and Charla Greene.
