Notes for Thomas BARNUM

Some have suggested that the relationship between Thomas and his supposed father, Ebenezer, is thrown into doubt by the will of Ebenezer, which shows only sons David and Silas and daughters Sarah, Keziah, Hannah and June or Jane. However, his absence from his father's will is almost certainly due to the fact that he predeceased his father by 20 years.
