From the Sandusky Register, February 9, 1946: Fremont, Feb. 9- Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Josephine Barnum, 88, widow of William H. Barnum were held Saturday at her residence. She died at her home where she had resided for the last 51 years. She was the daughter of David and Lucy Bartlett Garvin, born in Fremont October 15, 1857 and was married to William H. Barnum October 15, 1878. Surviving are a daughter, Miss Lucy Barnum, two sisters and two brothers.
