C. W. Barnum died on Thursday, Oct 9, 1936; he was 86 yrs old. Funeral services were held at Hawley Lincoln Memorial Funeral Services, 1389 Chapel Street, New Haven, CT. He was buried Oct 12, 1936 in Evergreen Cemetery. Albany Times Union and New York Times obituaries 10/10/36. Supposedly, he was living at the Taft Hotel in New Haven.
