Notes for Bolivar BARNUM


Dr. Bolivar Barnum served as an army surgeon during the Civil War. He enlisted from Schoolcraft, MI, 26 August 1861 and served with the 7th and 25th Regiments, Michigan Volunteer Infantry. The 1870 US Census for Michigan shows him residing in Schoolcraft Village, Kalamazoo County.
His gravestone shows a birth year of 1822.
