Notes for Zenus George BARNUM
From the Deming (New Mexico) Headlight, March 16, 1972: Zenus George Barnum of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania died March 8 in Mimbres Memorial Hospital. He and his wife were driving through Deming on their way from Florida to Phoenix, when he had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital where he died. Mr. Barnum was born in Mill City, Pennsylvania on January 27, 1901. A retired official of IBM, he was a member of the Baptist Church. The remains were shipped to Johnson City, N.Y. for burial. Survivors include his wife Alice, Mechanicsburg; and four daughters: Marjory Hinman and Laurella Christensen both of Windsor, N.Y., Janet Lockard of Carlisle, Pa., and Edyth Cook, Mechanicsburg.
