Notes for Jesse BARNUM

The 'Genealogical Record of the Barnum Family' identifies Jesse as the father of Seth Barnum, who m. Sarah Barnum abt. 1795, and from whom six additional generations descend. However, the Vital Records of Kent, clearly show that Jesse died at the age of 7 years. No suitable candidate has yet been found to take his place as the patriarch of those six generations.
Jeff Olsen gives a death date of 28 Jun 1838.
