Notes for Lovina PALMER
The following is a quote from the 'History of Harrison County, Iowa': "Lovina (Parmer) Barnum was born in London, Canada, in 1836, and removed with her parents to Hancock County, Ill., when she was six years of age, and from there to Walworth County, Wis., where they lived until 1854, and then came to Harrison County, being early settlers at Bigler's Grove." Her gravestone calls her Lavinar. She was a housewife and mother.
