A Family Tree of the BARNUM/BARNHAM Family Worldwide

Notes for William Frank BARNUM
William was a farmer, assessor, Justice of the Peace and school board trustee; Nellie was a homemaker.
William was born on the family farm in the Pine Hill community of Manchester, Jackson, Wisconsin. Nellie was born in nearby Alma Center, Wisconsin.
Their home in rural Black River Falls, Wisconsin burned down on 28 December 1956 and they lost everything. No one was injured in the fire but Nellie died just four days later of a heart attack. The pastor at Nellie’s funeral was Chauncey Yost of Ontario, WI. William died just a month after suffering a stroke.
William and Nellie spent their married life in Pine Hill, on the farm where William was born. Source: Census: 1900 Manchester, Jackson Co., WI. Death Cert.: Jackson Co., WI Vol. 18 pg. 296.
