Notes for Nehemiah GREGORY


During the Revolutionary War, Nehemiah Gregory and his son Jehiel were privates in the Westchester county regiment, commanded by Gen. Thomas. They were at Ticonderoga, Crown Point, and Fort Montgomery under Col. Clinton.
The Province of New York became the State of New York in 1776.
