Notes for Mary E. MAXFIELD

The Danbury Evening News of January 30, 1928 related the news of the sudden death of Mary E. Bassett at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Stephen Gilbert. She was in her ninetieth year and was survived by sons Samuel A. Bassett and Byron L. Bassett and daughters Mrs. Gilbert of Bethel and Mrs. Georgianna Lord of Bridgeport. She was also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
