Notes for William Buckminster LINDSAY

William Buckminster Lindsay, Jr. married, first, on February 19, 1845, in Nauvoo, Hancock County, Illinois, Julia Parks, the daughter of William Parks and Fannie Hyde. She was born on February 22, 1924, in Livonia, Livingstone County, New York, and died on December 11, 1913, in Paris, Bear Lake, Idaho. He married next, as his first plural wife, Permelia Charlotte Ann Blackman. He then married Sarah Henderson, as his second plural wife, in 1854. She died on March 5, 1911, in Paris, Bear Lake, Idaho. He had 26 children, 18 of whom lived to adulthood. William was a bodyguard to both Joseph Smith and Brigham Young.
