From the Republican Watchman, February 7, 1919: Mrs. Edna Viall Barnum, wife of Isaac Barnum of Nayatt, R. I., died on January 12 after a 14 month illness. She was a native of Rhode Island. Fifty-two years ago she married Mr. Barnum formerly of Monticello. He will be remembered by the older people of this vicinity as having lived on the Isaac Brasington place. His sister was the first wife of Seth Olmsted.
