From The Capital, Annapolis, Maryland, April 20, 1970: Mrs. Hazel J. Barnum, 82, widow of Merle W. Barnum, died Saturday (April 18) at the Annapolis Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Barnum was born in Malone, NY, daughter of the late H. Jerome and Jeanett (Briggs) Bliss. Mrs. Barnum is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mary Ann Kennedy of Woodland Beach. Funeral services and interment will be held in Dunedin, Florida.
