Noble and Harriet Hotchkiss moved to North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio after the birth of their son Orvis, who was born in 1809 in Vermont.

The Lakewood Historical Society lists Noble and his wife Harriet as being born in 1782.
He was buried in Butternut Ridge Cemetery.
