In 1917, according to his WWI draft registration, he was living in Wendell, Idaho and was born in Ackley, Iowa on May 28, 1892.

In the 1920 Census he is listed in Wendell, Gooding County, Idaho with wife, Agnes P. 24 years old, born in Washington and son Robert P., age 1 1/12 also born in Washington. In 1930, Eugene and Agnes are in Jennings, Clackamas County, Oregon with two sons: Robert P. age 11, born in Washington and Bruce W., age 9 born in Idaho.

Eugene S. Barnum was born May 28, 1892 in Iowa and died January 13, 1972 in Orange County, California. (SSDI and California Death Index)
