From the Wellsville Patriot, New York, December 20, 1972: Mrs. Mabel B. Davidson of Wiscoy died on December 13, 1972, in Lakeland, Florida following a brief illness. Born in Centerville on January 24, 1874, a daughter of Edward and Viola Woodward Barnum, she married Robert Davidson who predeceased her. Surviving are a nephew, Robert Barnum of Fort Gibson; and two nieces, Mrs. Aaron of Old Forge, and Miss Mary C. Davidson of Lakeland, Fla. Funeral services were conducted at the Kopler Funeral Home on December 16, with the Rev. Craig Martin, pastor of the Pike Community Church, officiating. Burial will be in East Koy Cemetery, Town of Pike.
